There is no doubt that sex and love are complications that we need in our lives. These complications make us human.

Comparatively, sex is more simple: basically it involves lots of kissing, foreplay, lubricant, condom, thrustings, climax (for her), and ejaculation (f0r him).

Love is a totally different thing altogether. It makes you miserable, silly, spiteful, crazy, vulnerable.

Perhaps these kids know more about love than the adults. Too bad we act too adult for our own good to see the beauty of love. May be some day we can learn from these insightful little monsters?

These are some of the responses from some school kids which caught my attention:

  • “Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.”
    Chrissy (6 years old)

  • “Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.”
    Terri (4 years old)

  • “Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day.”
    Mary Ann (4 years old)

  • “Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.”
    Elaine (5 years old)
